Remember Sci Fi Series Heroes? Judith Shekoni cast in new reboot, Heroes Reborn
Heroes will be returning to our screens soon with the new reboot titled: ‘Heroes Reborn.’
For those of you who remember the original format, Heroes was a sci-fi television series that showed ordinary people who discover superhuman abilities and how those newfound abilities affect the characters. The series ran from 2006 – 2010.
‘The enormous impact that Heroes had on the television landscape when it first launched in 2006 was eye-opening’ president of NBC Entertainment Jennifer Salke, said in a statement.
‘Shows with that kind of resonance don’t come around often and we thought it was time for another instalment.’
Since the announcement, some original cast members have hinted here and there on social media about possibly returning for the reboot but nothing has actually been confirmed.

What we can be sure of, is that British actress Judith Shekoni (who’s had roles in Eastenders and Hollyoaks) has been cast in ‘Heroes Reborn’ she’s probably most well known for her role in ‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2’ as Zafrina, the leader of the Amazonian vampires. With this regular role in ‘Heroes Reborn’ scheduled for this year, this should open up a whole new demographic of audiences for her.
