Loyle Carner Salutes Young Fathers in latest visual for The Isle of Arran.

Taken from Loyle Carner’s debut album Yesterday’s Gone and to be released January 20th,  the visual for The Isle of Arran is out for us to enjoy.
The 22-year-old rapper from South London uncovers all on The Isle of Arran and before the visuals it was considered the ‘hottest record’ on Annie Mac’s BBC Radio 1 show.
The name of the track comes from the Scottish island that Loyle’s grandfather lived on and the visual is nothing less than truthful and inspiring. The track samples the 60’s song The Lord Will Make A Way by S.C.I Youth Choir and as a viewer, you travel with Loyle through a hospital as he delves into his private world, reminiscing the hard times he faced before he concludes with a happier moment of him seemingly stepping into fatherhood.
Earlier in the year Carner called on young fathers to help him in a new project and towards the end of the video you see it come into fruition as the MC is accompanied by young fathers in what seems to be a mass photo-shoot.

Directed by Georgia Hudson, the video complements the emotional and thought-provoking track nicely. For those who haven’t managed to check it out yet, watch the video below.
