In case you had been hiding under a rock, which is kind of how I felt, you might not be aware of Amazon Studios releasing its first ever pilot season for 2015.
The lineup includes 7 dramas, comedy and docu-series that feature Lucien Laviscount (Waterloo RD), Romany Malco (Think like a Man) and Toks Olagundoye (The Neighbours) along with 4 animated kids shows.

At the start of the Civil War, a Virginia family makes the controversial decision to defend the South while freeing all of their slaves, putting the family against one another and testing their strength courage and love. The hour long drama was written and executive produced by Carlton Cuse (Lost) Randall Wallace (Braveheart) and Barry Jossen (Sex and the city).
